Storytime Family - Elizabeth & Olive VanDyke
Elizabeth VanDyke has been bringing her grandaughter, Olive, to Bosler Library's storytime since she was six months old and has seen her progress, both physically and socially, thanks to this program.
"Olive is an only child, so she doesn't have many opportunities to interact with other children," Elizabeth said. "Since she's been coming to storytime, she's become quite social. She greets every little baby who comes in the room and sometimes gives them a hug."
"Miss Barb has been great! She gave me some handouts of the songs she sings at storytime, and I sing them to Olive at home.
"I live in Hershey and plan the days that I watch her around Bosler Library's storytimes. What a gem you have in Carlisle!"
