On Wednesday, August 25, representatives from libraries across six counties gathered at Fredricksen Library to announce
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak as the 2010 One Book, One Community selection.
“One Book, One Community provides a regional opportunity for a shared reading experience that leads to open dialogue on the important issues raised by a single book.”, said Carolyn Blatchley, Librarian for Cumberland County Library System and coordinator of this year’s One Book Campaign.
