Calling All Writers! Bosler Library is pleased to annouce a 5-part writing group led by author and editor Melinda Downey Shultz. The
Writers' Wordshop is open to writers of every genre and is intended to establish a safe place to follow whims, gain new perspective, and share ideas. Whether you are a poet, a novelist, or a blogger, the Writers' Wordshops can help you on your journey. Through hands-on writing practice and exploration of experimental themes, you will be immersed in the craft of writing and will learn techniques designed to focus and create depth in your work as well as your life as a writer.
Melinda Downey Shultz has an MFA in creative writing from Carlow University (Pittsburgh and Ireland) and is currently the editor of an environmental magazine; she has been a professional writer for more than twenty years, and is now bringing her expertise to the Bosler Library.
The Writers' Wordshop will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month, in the new Community Room at Bosler Library. The upcoming sessions meet at the following times
