Bequests can be made in the form of cash, property, or a percentage of the remainder of an estate. The latter often provides more flexibility in planning.
The following language is an effective way to make a bequest to John Graham Library:
"I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of the John Graham Library, a nonprofit corporation, organized and operating under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the [sum of $ or "rest, residue and remainder of my estate"] to be used for the general purposes of the John Graham Library [or for a particular program of your choosing]."
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your gift with you. Please contact Mary Schoedel, Director, at (717) 776-5900 or email John Graham Library.
