On December 10 and 11, the library lower level will be filled with tables laden with dozens and dozens of cookies! Make your choices and Friends of Amelia Givin Library volunteers will fill containers for you. A small container is $8. Large containers are $15. SALE HOURS: Wed 4-7 pm and Thurs 10 am- 7 pm (or until sold out)! Other baked goods and ornaments also for sale. Please enter the lower level of the library using the ramp at the back parking lot.

Saturday, December 13 from 1 to 3 pm. Stop in to see the historic building decked out for the holidays! There will be a train display, a children's craft, hot chocolate, cookies, and a chance to win door prizes. Santa arrives at The Santa House located on the library front lawn at 1 pm.
Hands-on learning builds strong brains! For babies through age 6. No registration needed. Just drop in between 9:30 am and 12:00 Noon on Fridays for open play and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) building activities and imaginative play.
Join us for a creative afternoon making your very own Shrinky Dink keychains, gift tags, ornaments and more! Shrinky Dinks are a craft material made from thin sheets of plastic that shrink when heated. This program is most appropriate for school-aged kids, teens, and adults. Younger children are welcome but will need assistance.
Love to cook, bake & taste? Bring a favorite recipe to share and tell other home chefs what you love about it. If you like, you can even bring your dish to share for others to taste if you like. Blank recipe cards will be available so you can leave with new recipes. This is a free program for adults age 14 and up.
Reading sessions are held Tuesdays evenings in the library lower level for children up to age 12. Reading to a friendly dog allows children to practice their reading skills in a comforting environment to build their confidence. Three 15-minute time slots: 4:30 pm, 4:50 pm and 5:10 pm.
