CPBB Monthly Blood Drive

10am-5:30pm on Walnut Street alongside the Children's Library

Come and donate blood to the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank – the bus will be parked along Walnut Street near Fredricksen’s lower parking lot. Registration is inside the library’s lower- level lobby. Call CPBB 1-800-771-0059 with questions or to schedule an appointment; though walk-ins are welcome, donors with appointments will be taken first. A form of ID is required to donate.

Teens Teaching Tech

Need help with your phone, tablet, laptop, or online accounts? We’re excited to launch Teens Teaching Tech — a new pilot program connecting local students with adult patrons who want a little extra confidence using today’s technology. Drop in and learn at your own pace. Local high school students will be on hand to provide friendly, supportive one-on-one assistance with smartphones, tablets, laptops, cloud tools, apps, and everyday digital tasks.

Mock Interview Sessions

10 and 11 AM time slots, registration required--BCC Classroom 

Practice your interview skills with an HR professional! This 30-45 minute session will consist of a simulated interview for a position you are interested in and an evaluation offering strategies for improvement. Dress for the part, do your research and come practice your interview skills! 

Choose your time when you REGISTER. Please be sure to (1) include a brief description of or link to a job listing that you are interested in AND (2) email a resume and cover letter (and, optionally, other supporting materials if you wish for them to be considered and evaluated) to frebiz@cumberlandcountylibraries.org at the time of registration. This is MANDATORY so that our interviewer can be prepared for a meaningful simulated interview.
