Jenna Rappaport, the Director of Holocaust Education for the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg and the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, will tell her grandparents' harrowing stories of war and settling in Harrisburg, PA. Ms. Rappaport will then connect these themes of remembrance, strength, and resilience to current events and to the overall importance of continued Holocaust education.

Handicap Chess & Strategy Games

chess4:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the Small Meeting Room
Handicap chess allows players of different experience levels to play a competitive game of chess. The more experienced player will start the game with fewer pieces. The greater the difference in experience, the greater the amount of removed pieces. Players can play regular chess if they prefer. Participants are asked to bring a chess set, if possible, but it is not required to participate. Participants who want to expand their horizons are welcome to try other games of strategy. Beginners are welcome. Feel free to drop in when you can and leave when you need to. No registration required. Ages 14+
