Join Catherine Jordan, author, editor, and instructor for Prompt Writing. We will use a brief passage of text (or an image) that provides a topic idea or starting point for an original piece of flash, short story, long story, or even a novel! Class will include how to use time management, character action beats, a premise, and how to avoid getting stuck in the middle. Feedback included as we work through our stories. Use this class to build your author portfolio, polish your craft, or work toward a submission. Registration is required.

In cooperation with Hospice of Central PA, we will be reading books focusing on the redemptive power of the human spirit. This month we discuss Gina Moffa, LCSW, book which "illuminates a non-linear path through grief, with tools and practices to grieve at your own pace and use loss as a catalyst for a more connected, meaningful life moving forward.” Ages 18 +.
