A Celtic Concert with Seasons!

Seasons is an award-winning Celtic New-Folk group out of Central PA. Their albums have received national acclaim and radio play, and several of the band members have competed in Ireland at the highest level of Irish music competition. The band has performed at numerous festivals, including Celtic Fling, Bethlehem Music Festival, and the Kutztown Folk Festival. Their concerts include traditional Irish songs and instrumentals and also original compositions on harp, hammered dulcimer, fiddle, concertina, and more!

Travelogue: Thula Thula Game Reserve, South Africa

6:30 – 8:30 PM in the Community Room

Take a safari drive through Thula Thula Game Reserve and see elephants, rhinos, leopards, hippos, and if you are lucky, a hyena at night. Located in the former Zulu Empire, Thula Thula, in partnership with local communities provides almost 14,000 acres of natural land for wildlife in South Africa. Learn about their efforts to protect endangered rhinos and meet elephant land size needs.
Recommended reading by author, Françoise Malby-Anthony, owner of Thula Thula, available at the library include: “An elephant in my kitchen: what the herd taught me about love, courage and survival,” and “The elephants of Thula Thula.” Plus, “The elephant whisperer: my life with the herd in the African wild,” by Thula Thula founder, Lawrence Anthony.

From the BUJO and personal organization to creative art journaling, join fellow journal writers as we practice methods to capture thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you are tracking personal growth, cultivating gratitude, setting goals or managing stress, developing your journaling style and routine will boost a positive mindset.
