Art Camp

June 17 & 18, 9 am - 12 pm
Join us for Art Camp where you will learn about different artists and artistic styles. Activities will include looking at works by famous artists, replicating art by the artist, and creating our own art using their style. You will learn about: Andy Warhol and Frida Kahlo. Ages 8 - 12.

Adventure begins at the library this summer with our free summer camps! Camps are designed around themes and include reading, discussion, hands-on activities, special library programs, and conclude with group lunchtime. Each morning, camper goers will meet in the children’s library before spending time outside.  

Families will need to provide a brown bag lunch, water bottle, and ensure their child has sunscreen applied as the children will be spending time outdoors weather permitting. Healthy vegetarian snacks will be provided. If your child has food allergies/sensitivities or has a special diet, please pack snacks for your child and notify our librarian programmers about food allergies/sensitivities/diet. 

Camps are limited to 15 individuals. A waitlist will be enabled. If you registered for a space your child can no longer keep, please cancel the reservation so another child on the waitlist can register. REGISTER

Food, Farm & Garden Camp

June 10 - 13, 9 am - 12 pm
Join us for Food, Farm & Garden Camp where you will learn about farming and gardening, and how those systems relate to the food we eat. Activities include mushroom grow kit, working in the vegetable garden, seed prep, and more. Ages 10 - 12.

Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania: Troop Formation

Interested in scouting? This troop formation meeting is open to girls ages 5 through 18 and their parents.
