In this hands-on summer camp, young explorers will discover how natural materials—plants, minerals, and insects—have been used for centuries to create stunning colors.

The West Shore Symphony Orchestra (WSSO) is in its 37th season and performs in the Harrisburg and West Shore Communities. The WSSO’s Wind Quintet is happy to present a children’s musical storytelling program featuring instruments such as the flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon. Come to learn more about these instruments, sing along, and hear WSSO’s narrator tell this special musical story.

The Air Weaver Super Terrific Happy Funtime Balloon Show of Pure and Complete Awesomeness (Big Balloon Show for short) connects to kids and adults of all ages and brings together magic, balloon artistry, story telling and tons of audience engagement for a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. Fan of graphic novels and/or superheroes? Try your hand at creating your own comics and bring an old T-shirt to recycle into a cape. Then, decorate it to match your story or favorite superhero!

This laid back program allows kids to express their artistry through collage! They will be able to flip through various printed materials for inspiration, receive theme suggestions and examples, and use fun craft materials to embellish their ideas.
