A program designed specifically for infants up through age 2! During this program we will play, sing, do fingerplays, and sometimes read a short board book. Baby and Me playtimes are designed for parents/caregivers to participate in the activities with their child(ren).

Join us for short books, fingerplays, songs, and bounce rhymes for a child’s first introduction to library fun in this storytime for crawlers, cruisers, and walkers! Following storytime, babies and caregivers will have the opportunity to engage in casual free-play with our age appropriate toys.

Storytime teaches social skills, listening comprehension, letter and number recognition, and vocabulary. Join us for stories, songs & rhymes while we build a foundation for reading success. No class on 1/15 - Library will be closed for MLK Day.

Drop off your stuffed animal for a fun night at the Library! They will join other furry friends for a wild slumber party in the bookshelves! Then, pick up your stuffed friend the following day along with some mementos of their Library adventures.
The stuffed animal can be dropped off anytime before the end of the day on Friday and picked up before the end of the day on Saturday (the Library is open 10 AM-5 PM on Friday and 10 AM-2 PM on Saturday).

Children interested in reading practice can sign up to read to a therapy animal. Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program seeks to improve a child’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of trained therapy animal teams. Children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect with the pet independently. Bring your favorite book or two to share with one of our animal friends.
