Take and Make: Perfect Symmetry

Using simple materials such as paper, this challenge involves creating a perfectly symmetrical artwork using principles of mathematics. If an additional challenge is desired, this could be turned into a multimedia project by incorporating matierals such as leaves, twigs and other natural items. Available while supplies last at the Children's Desk.

Take and Make: Newspaper Tower

See if you can recreate a piece of world famous architecture, or engineer a structure of your own using only newspaper and tape! Most large buildings are constructed by many people, so get together with some friends or family members and see what you can create together! Available while supplies last at the Children's Desk.

Take and Make: Wall Marble Run

Using cardboard tubes, engineer a marble run on the wall! It may take some trial and error, but it will be so satisfying when you can watch your marble fall perfectly down your cardboard design! Available while supplies last at the Children's Desk.

Take and Make: Homemade Harmonica
