This program is designed for children to recognize the fascinating role the honeybee plays in providing food to their table. STEM concepts will be featured as we discuss bee activities such as waggle dance, pollination, and swarming. In addition, explaining the cooperative nature of thousands of individual insects working together for the betterment of the whole colony will parallel and encourage a mindset of basic human kindness. Program held in Foundation House.

Throughout the story, you’ll help the performer conduct amazing science experiments all about air pressure, the laws of motion, chemical reactions, and much more! Young ones with green thumbs are encouraged to join an adult gardener for a weekly gardening lesson, story, and activity. Participants will plant & grow a garden together right here at the Library! We will meet inside the Children's Room.
