Mixed Media Craft

Tree craft using mixed media and paper quillingRegistration Required
2nd floor, Meeting Room
Join the Library as we create a one-of-a-kind mixed media tree on canvas. Participants will be guided in using paint, tree bark, and quilled leaves to create these works of art on canvas suitable for display. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. No experience is necessary. All supplies will be provided, but space is limited and registration is required. This program is part of this year’s Longwood Garden Community Read of The Songs of Trees: Stories from Nature’s Great Connectors by David George Haskell. All participants will be entered in a chance to win tickets to Longwood Gardens.
