Ages 18+.  

Monthly themes: Share a Paragraph - At the end of the reading session, each attendee is invited to share their favorite excerpt from the book they are reading.

Are you ready to take charge of your personal safety? This introductory class is carefully designed to give you the tools and strategies to do just that. There will be in-depth discussion and training on how to avoid and de-escalate dangerous encounters. You will gain a better understanding of how these situations can unfold and develop awareness on how to minimize them. The class is led by Andres Gutierrez, CMA West/ Hampden Township Recreation Department. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. No registration is necessary.

New to meditation? No problem! A certified trainer from the Heartfulness Institute (www.heartfulnessinstitute.org) will help you in taking that first step to develop calmness from within. As a practitioner, you can experience better concentration, inner balance and true wellness of being. Come and experience the peace and love as a starting point of many good things in life.
