The Friends of Fredricksen will hold Donation Station on the first Saturday of each month to accept donations of books and media for their Book & Media Sales. To drop off donations, please park in the lower parking lot off Walnut Street close or near the sidewalk. Donations of one box or less can be brought to the Reference Desk whenever the Library is open. Thank you for thinking of the Friends when you have extra books.

Get ready to explore, create, learn, and experiment in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) monthly meetups. STEM activities are a great way to discover concepts and promote skills that are scientific, creative, and collaborative. Each STEM program includes concept learning and experimentation or creation of a project based on the topic. Recommended ages 8 - 10 years old.  
November - Open STEM play. Kits, building materials, STEM puzzles and more will be available for independent discovery.

David Jordan, a noted collector and member of the Red Rose Coin Club, will showcase his collection of world coins and paper money including ancient Roman, Greek, Netherlands, and the United States in Fredricksen’s upper display case during the month of September. Wondering if something in your own collection has value? Bring items on Tuesdays & Thursdays when he will be on hand with U.S. and world coin reference books.
