Mission Transition Kindergarten Prep

6 pm in the Community Room, Lower Level
Mission Transition allows your child to practice skills that will benefit them in kindergarten, meet other students from their school, and build their confidence as they begin their educational journey. Miss Kayla will work with students who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2022. Sessions are Monday evenings, September to May. Choose one Monday a month and register online. Children may attend multiple sessions per month.  *No session May 16.

Before long, the lonely Chow makes the acquaintance of the alluring Su Li-zhen, whose own significant other also seems preoccupied with work. As the two friends realize their respective partners are cheating on them, they begin to fall for one another; however, neither wants to stoop to the level of the unfaithful spouses. Longwood Gardens Community Read: Terrific Trees

book5 pm in the Community Room, Lower Level
Join us for the Longwood Gardens Community read where we will be reading We Planted a Tree and learning about the importance of trees. Children will learn how trees help the environment by making a tree identification chart, identifying trees near the library and collectively planting a tree on library grounds. Recommended ages 8 – 12. Registration required.
