READ to Dogs

Specially trained dogs from K-PETs will be at the library to listen to children read aloud. This program is helpful to children who may be shy or reluctant to read aloud and will encourage them to practice reading independently. For budding readers, ages 6 - 12. Registration required.

    Peter and the Wolf: A Fairy-Tale Adventure with Pennsylvania Ballet Academy

    Saturday, March 15, 1:30 PM in the Community Room 

    Join us again for a magical event with the artists from the Pennsylvania Ballet Academy! Want to be in a fairy-tale? In this story-based movement class, you get to be part of the action! We'll skip and jump our way through the story of Peter and the Wolf and see dances performed by PBA. For boys and girls ages 3-8. Siblings welcome. Sneakers recommended.

    It's OK to be a Grouch Storytime

    10 am in the Storytime Nook of the Children’s Library  

    Join Miss. Monet on Thursday, April 3rd @ 10 am for our "It's Okay To Be a Grouch" storytime! We'll be featuring stories with lovable literary curmudgeons, i.e., Grumpy Monkey, Oscar the Grouch and Alexander who always has a terrible, horrible day. A themed craft will be provided and stuffed animal friends are always welcome to attend! For ages 0 - 6. No registration required.
