Puzzle Party
Your whole family will fit perfectly at Puzzle Party on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm! Put your problem solving skills to the test at this drop-in event!
Younger children will enjoy putting together one of our giant, oversized floor puzzles. Older children can solve riddles, mazes, crosswords, or word-finds.

Teen Murder Mystery Dinner
6 pm, Community Room
Cosplay, murder, mayhem – it’s all waiting for you and your friends. Teens registered for this event will receive a character assignment via email. You can bring your character to life with a costume and some basic acting skills. All characters will go through a script trying to figure out "who dunnit". There will be prizes for whoever guesses the identity of the murderer and dinner will be served. This program is for teens ages 13-18. Details can be found via Eventbrite - Registration is required.

Children's Summer Closing Party Aug 8 from 4 pm - 7 pm
No registration is necessary! Children can drop in during party hours from 4 to 7 pm. There will be balloon animals, snacks, and crafts. Best of all, kids will “shop” for prizes earned by logging their reading and activities on Beanstack. (For those who can't attend the party, "shopping" will continue at the library during regular hours through August 22.) The library parking lot may be full. Come learn with our friends from the Whitaker Center! This action-packed Best of WOW program will engage and educate youngsters in different STEAM concepts. We will inspire creativity and curiosity by including activities from our favorite Whitaker on Wheels programs. These topics may include physics, dinosaurs, chromatography, and/or engineering design challenges!
