Help your child with their kindergarten readiness. Mission Transition allows your child to practice skills that will benefit them in kindergarten, meet other students from their school, and build their confidence as they begin their educational journey. Miss Kayla will work with students who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2022. Registration required.

Join us as we read a story about being lucky to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and then make some green leprechaun slime together!

Drop-In (No Registration Required)
Enjoy an evening storytime and then stay for an optional screening of the movie based on the book, which will start around 5:30. Families may join for either or both portions of the program. Snacks and refreshments will be available. This month’s title will be Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
Children who visit the library booth (across from the fire station) from 8 am to 2 pm will receive a free Scholastic Book!. Between 9 am and 12 Noon, Balloon Artist Jay Arthur will also be there! Books and balloons are sponsored by the Friends of Amelia Givin Library.
6:30 pm - 8 pm in the Children's Library, Lower Level
Specially trained dogs from K-PETs will be at the library to listen to children read aloud. This program is helpful to children who may be shy or reluctant to read aloud and will encourage them to practice reading independently. For budding readers, ages 6 - 12. Registration required.
