Ever want to learn about what makes a great painting? How about discovering how food is grown or how archaeological discoveries are made? This Young Explorers group will explore art, science, history, and more in their quest to learn more about the world around them. Program includes reading, activity, and discussion. This month we will be learning about Oceans, its importance in our lives and the life living in them. Recommended ages 5 - 8. Registration required.

Join Music, Play, Patrol for a unique experience to add to our summer of fun! This program gets both adults and kids up moving and dancing to the beat! Children get to learn about and play an authentic African djembe and play other West African instruments like the Talking Drum, Shekere, and Gourd Drum. The session ends with a dance and drum circle. This interactive show is crawling with fun and laughter! Presented by Forgotten Friend's herpetologist, author, photographer, and certified class clown, Jesse Rothacker. Jesse the Reptile Guy brings learning to life with fifteen live snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocs. You'll meet reptiles from around the world, and a few from your own backyard! Seating is limited. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day at the library? 
Join us for a beautiful midsummer evening on the library lawn! Our folly will include excerpts from Midsummer Night's Dream, "open mic" sonnets, storytelling, and music. We will also have flowers, lights, fairies, crafts, and sweets! Bring your lawn blankets and enjoy a lovely evening of enchantment.
