Each month we will meet up in the Kunkel Creation Station. You can choose this month’s featured project “Pokemon Terrarium” or use some of our amazing machines and gadgets to make something else. Register online (1 session per person) beginning November 15. Ages 10 - 12.

Be a farmer, brainiac, and artist all in one! Create your very own pumpkin patch with fun paint fingerprints and practice math equations at the same time. Available at the Children’s Desk starting Saturday, October 16th. No registration required but supplies are limited.

Are you scared of your underwear? Maybe you should be! Join us on Zoom to read this silly story by Aaron Reynolds and make a spooky craft to get in the Halloween spirit. Registration required.

Join our tween book club, where we read and discuss a different middle grade book or graphic novel each month. Sometimes we will watch the movie version of the story, if available. In honor of Native American Heritage month, our November book pick will be Sisters of the Neversea by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Several copies of the book are available for checkout in the library system. Participants will meet in person.
Kids Interested in Novels of Diversity!
Ages 8-14 with parental discretion
While your tweens may be busy reading school curriculum books, we hope they can kick back with some fun and world-expanding graphic novels featuring diverse characters! Participants will receive a copy of the book which must be returned, and will have a chance to discuss the book with peers. In honor of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, this month's pick is Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier. Registration required.
