Create a masterpiece in your own home! One of our favorite events is going digital. Miss Kayla will guide you through a monthly painting or paint your own creation with help during our virtual program. Recommended Ages 11 – 14. Online registration opens June 10, Bag available June 15.

Enter our 4th Annual Teen Creative Expression Contest.  Submissions will be accepted in 5 categories: painting/illustration, photography, poetry, short story, and a new category--audio/visual.

Submissions are accepted June 6 - July 12 and will be on display in the library and/or shared on the library's Facebook page from July 13 - August 9.  The best entry in each category will be chosen by a panel of judges and the winners will receive $50.  You may enter once in each category. Winners will be announced in early August! For teens ages 12 -18.

Get your creativity flowing! Book Nooks. These creations fit on your bookshelves right between your favorite books. Filled with tiny details and lights, they look incredible. Register online beginning January 15. Masks are required. For ages 12 - 18.

Calling all LEGO maniacs!!!! This event will challenge you to the limits of your LEGO awesomeness! Each participant will receive identical pieces and instructions but will be building in a box unable to see what they are doing. Register online beginning December 15. Masks are required. Ages 12 - 18.

Get your creativity flowing! This month we’ll be making a Good Vibes Block. Keep this wellness tool handy when you are having a tough day – turn the block for reminder messages of how amazing and important you are! Register online beginning November 15. Masks are required.

Season 3 of the Umbrella Academy is on its way to Netflix. We’ll break down Seasons 1 & 2, speculate about the Sparrow Academy and rank our fav Academy members. Register online beginning November 15. Cosplay is encouraged. Masks are required.

Join us for a fun night of after-hours hide and seek! Attendees MUST register online beginning October 1. Halloween costumes are encouraged! Pizza dinner and snacks will be provided. Masks are required.

Join us to geek out about your fav Superhero (or Villain)! Who is the ultimate hero from Marvel or DC – argue about the virtues and vices, settle the debate about capes and more! We’ll cover their appearances in books, movies and music. Heroic snacks and prizes galore!! Register online beginning October 15. Cosplay is encouraged. Masks are required.

Bring your passion for The Olympians, The Egyptians, The Gods of Asgard and more as we celebrate the arrival of the new book Daughter of the Deep! Riordian snacks and prizes galore!!
