There’s something fun for everyone in the library’s stash of board games, card games, and other tabletop games. Or you can bring a favorite from home. Meet and play with other gamers or bring friends and family for an afternoon of logic, strategy, and fun. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. No registration necessary.

Trivia NightRegistration for this program is full. Free program for ages 14+. Join us for a trivia night sponsored by ‘Cheaters Never Prosper’. You can work as a team of 2 up to a max team size of 10. No phones or internet allowed during game play! Prizes will be awarded to the winning team. Watercolor Holiday CardsRegistration for this program is now full. Free program for ages 14+.  Learn simple watercolor techniques to create 10 handmade holiday cards - 5 each of 2 designs. The cost for this program is subsidized by a grant from the Partnership for Better Health

Seaglass TreeRegistration for this program is full. Cost: $20 per person. Create a beautiful holiday tree from sea glass, complete with fairy lights. Holiday Mosaic Montage on Tuesday, November 18 at 6 pm

Holiday MosaicCost: $25 per person. Create a lovely holiday-themed mosaic montage of a snowman, gingerbread man, or Christmas tree. For ages 14+. Stop by the library or call (717) 486-3688 to register.

(FULL) Sourdough Bread Making

Sourdough Bread MakingRegistration for this program is full. Cost: $10 per person. Learn all the ins and outs to making your own sourdough bread! Lauren Horvat from "Starting All Things Sourdough" will be leading this learning session teaching all the tips and tricks to making your own delicious loaves. Come prepared with your questions and leave with your own starter kit! Your starter will be active in a few weeks time, just in time for the colder months and soup season. For ages 14.

Book Dragon Club: Dead Philosopher’s Society

Oh Captain My Captain! Our philosophers’ club gives you the chance to share ideas from your favorite thinkers and to add your own deep thoughts and reflections to better understand our world. This program is for teens ages 13-18.  Registration is required.

Teen Game Day: Life Size Club

Wander through the rooms of our mansion featuring themes from YA books and pop culture to solve the questions: Who, Where and with What. This program is for teens ages 13-18. Registration is required and begins August 1.

Book Dragon Club: Film Academy

7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Virtual

Our film makers group is your ticket to cinematic greatness. We will meet virtually for the first meeting and will then plan subsequent meetings. Some teens will write scripts, some will direct short films, some will edit and some will act. All shorts will be filmed and shown at the library. This program is for teens ages 13-18.  Registration is required and begins August 1.
