As part of our Introduction to Entrepreneurship Series, this workshop will discuss the importance of credit score, determining your cost of startup, and some options for financing your business.
You know you want to invest; you know it is critical for your long-term financial health but, knowing what strategy to take to get started can be difficult. We will cover various strategies, including Dollar-Cost Averaging, Growth Investing, and others. We will also discuss common times to re-examine our strategies and how change them for our changing circumstances.
Calculating what you need in order to retire can be difficult. Where do you begin to come up with that magic number? Will you have a mortgage or car payment? What will your sources of income be; pension, Social Security, 401(k), etc. This session will help you to evaluate where you currently are and where you need to be.
Discuss good business practices to help keep good employees who often include multiple generations working together. What are some things we can do to run smoothly and efficiently?
