Donating blood may be one of the most important things you’ve ever done. Just one pint of your blood can save as many as four lives. Come and donate in Fredricksen's lower parking lot (Walnut Street). The Central PA Blood Bank is here on the first Friday of every month. It is a safe and easy process which takes approximately 45 minutes. Generally, anyone age 16 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in good health, can donate blood. We strongly suggest you schedule an appointment to donate blood. Appointments help us improve your donation experience. A form of ID is required to donate. • Walk-Ins are welcome; however, donors with appointments will be taken first and this may result in a significant wait time.

Natalie D. Craumer Writers’ Workshop: Critiquing the Critique

Join Catherine Jordan, author, editor, and instructor, for Critiquing the Critique: Techniques for development using critique as a guide for effective fiction writing. This eight-week course will focus on using different forms of critique in order to: catch plot holes, rework character and setting issues, increase conflict, and drive suspense. Seating is limited.
