The Death Cafe
Third Tuesday of the Month, June 17; 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
What is a Death Cafe? It is a safe, supportive, and informal gathering where people can chat openly about death, dying, and grief. The Café offers a space for sharing thoughts and feelings, asking questions, and connecting with others in your community, all while enjoying light refreshments like cake and drinks. Come as you are and feel welcome to participate in the conversation at your own comfort level. Facilitated by Philadelphia native Isaiah Troche, an End-of-Life Doula/Death Doula who also serves as a volunteer with Hospice of Central Pennsylvania. All ages welcome. To register, call the library at 717-761-3900; extension 242.
