Black holes are a staple of science fiction movies and TV shows. And occasionally they even make headline news. But what exactly are black holes? How do they work? How do they form? How do astronomers know they exist? What would happen if you fell into a black hole? And are we in any danger of a black hole roaming through our solar system and gobbling up Earth? Join science journalist Robert Naeye, a former NASA employee and editor in chief of Sky & Telescope magazine, as he explains in clear language the fascinating science of black holes.

Join local author Michael H. Zang for an overview of his recently published WWII biography, Guest of Adolf: The War of SSG Ernest V. Focht, 805th Tank Destroyer Battalion.  Focht was a long time Central Pennsylvania resident until his passing in 2003.  Captured in North Africa in February 1943, Focht spent 27 months as a prisoner of war. Using wartime diaries and letters home, this book offers an insight into the 805th Tank Destroyer Battalion, and the experiences of prisoners of war. Michale Zang is a retired Elementary School Principal and U.S. Army Colonel.

Hayney has performed in over 100 stage plays across the country and acted in numerous TV films and commercials. No registration is necessary.
