Ages 8-12

Join our tween book club, where we read and discuss a different middle grade book or graphic novel each month. Sometimes we will watch the movie version of the story, if available. In honor of Native American Heritage month, our November book pick will be Sisters of the Neversea by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Several copies of the book are available for checkout in the library system. Participants will meet in person.

Kids Interested in Novels of Diversity!
Ages 8-14 with parental discretion
While your tweens may be busy reading school curriculum books, we hope they can kick back with some fun and world-expanding graphic novels featuring diverse characters! Participants will receive a copy of the book which must be returned, and will have a chance to discuss the book with peers. In honor of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, this month's pick is Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier. Registration required.
