Ever read a book and think you could design a better cover? Put that idea to the test and come create a book cover for either a book that already exists or one of your own making! We will then display each creation in our Children’s Room display case and collect votes for the popular choice! The winner’s design will be featured on our social media pages.

Each week this summer, learn how to draw a different character from your favorite Disney movies! By the time school starts again, you’ll have a full art portfolio to show all your friends and lots of new drawing skills under your belt.
10 am in the Community Room
Get ready to explore, create, learn, and experiment in our STEAM (Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, and Math) open discovery stations. STEAM stations will be set up for self-guided activities where children can discover concepts and skills that are scientific, creative, and collaborative. Adult supervision required.
Recommended ages 3-5 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
6:00 pm in the Community Room
Join us for a night of creativity and cinema. Kid's Paint Night will be followed by a drop in family movie. Kids are invited to participate in a movie-based guided painting before the family film starts. Registration required. Films will be rated G or PG.
