Come to the Library on Sunday, April 27th for the Third Annual New Cumberland Earth & Arts Festival between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. We will have an array of activities and programs for all ages inside the Library and around our grounds. Music & entertainment, food trucks, vendors selling Earth-friendly goods, a demo garden, and alpacas from Angie's Alpaca Paradise are just a few of the things you will enjoy. Inside the Library, we will offer children's story time, crafts and activities for kids and teens, and a presentation about the Northern Lights, as well as opportunities to find out more information about the Penn-Cumberland Garden Club and the Master Watershed Steward Program.
The Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, April 26 from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM on the lawn area of Foundation House located across the shared parking lot from the Library. The plant sale will feature annuals, vegetables, herbs, perennials, and hanging baskets at bargain basement prices! All proceeds benefit the New Cumberland Public Library.
