Registration Required
Children interested in reading practice can sign up to read to a therapy animal. Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program seeks to improve a child’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of trained therapy animal teams. Children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect with the pet independently. Bring your favorite book or two to share with one of our animal friends.

Movie starts at dusk
Join the Library as we host a special Halloween Outdoor Movie Night on the Library's Grounds! Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks and enjoy seeing these classic monsters on the large outdoor screen. New Cumberland Outdoor Movies are a free community event from the New Cumberland Olde Town Association's Safe, Active, Healthy Committee.
