Join us as reenactors share documented stories of the Patriot Daughters of Lancaster, a ladies' aid society formed ten days after the firing on Ft. Sumter in 1861. The original group collected and organized the transport of food, clothing, and other comforts to Union troops, providing supplies to military hospitals and volunteering as nurses in Gettysburg after the 1863 battle. This program is held in cooperation with the AAUW (American Association of University Women). No registration necessary.
