Join us again for a magical event with the artists from the Pennsylvania Ballet Academy! In this story-based movement class, you get to be part of the action. We'll dance our way through the story of The Nutcracker and see dances performed by PBA. For boys and girls ages 3-8. Siblings welcome. Sneakers recommended.

Book Keepers meets monthly to discuss the best of YA literature. Each month you will get a book to read and review. We will also watch movie adaptations of YA books. This program is for teens ages 13-18.  Registration is required and begins August 1.

Calling all Pokemon superfans! Meetup to play TCG or Pokemon Go and trade cards. We will have snacks, contests and other surprises. Whether you are just beginning your Pokemon journey or are a seasoned trainer you need to be here! Feel free to bring along your device including tablets, Switches and phones. This program is for Tweens and Teens ages 9-18. Parents may stay to play with their children. Adults without a child will not be admitted. Registration required.

Our newspaper club gives you the opportunity to learn some journalism skills and meet new friends. You can choose from an array of assignments like staff interviews, book and movie reviews, breaking news coverage and more. This program is for Tweens and Teens ages 9-18. Registration is required.

Revisit a simpler time when all you worried about was playing games and learning to tie your shoes. Games from your elementary school years including board games and video games. This program is for teens ages 13-18. Registration is required.

Ryan “The Bug Man” Bridge is a regular visitor here at Fredricksen Library! He brings his LIVE insects and arthropods to the library to teach our families about Entomology in a fun, engaging, and hands-on program. Join us again this year to learn about these amazing creatures! All ages. No registration required.

Huntrix/Saja Boys cosplay and Halloween costumes welcome! *please refrain from overly scary/gory costumes and no weapons are allowed.  This program is for tweens ages 9-12. Registration is required and begins September 1.
