Our planet is home to critters of all kinds! Each animal has its own ecological niche, which is their special assignment on planet Earth. Come laugh and learn with Jesse Rothacker and his reptile friends, and discover how critters of all kinds work together to make one great big world. Recommended ages 0 - 18. No registration required. *Program will move to Community Room if weather is an issue.

We are so excited to welcome back, Ryan Bridge, “The Bug Man,” to Fredricksen Library! He will present an all-ages event focusing on how people are taught to dislike and thus, be afraid of bugs and insects. Breaking stereotypes and common fears about the most important creatures on our planet, he will teach everyone that “nothing in Nature WANTS to harm us.” Best of all, everyone will have a chance to pet and hold Live Bugs! Keeping insect education fun and exciting, audiences will experience the world of Entomology like never before! Recommended ages 0 - 18 years old. No registration required.
Join us for a treasure-hunting event deep in the jungle! The audience helps the performer conduct exciting science experiments that bring this story to life!

Children's book authors Floyd Stokes and Martalice de Melo Stokes will be presenting some of their books and providing an evening of fun entertainment for the whole family!
Refreshments will be provided, as well as Dutch Wonderland tickets to the first 50 people!

Join Mr. Frank and his musical instruments for a musical storytelling program! Get ready for some interactive activities teaching children how to create harmony by working together to play different instruments. *If weather is a factor, the program will move inside.

Andrew often practices his silly circus tricks by himself, but he knows there’s nothing more fun than working together to make things happen. For this year’s summer reading theme of All Together Now, Andrew is going to need all the help he can get. He’s performed all over the world in circuses, on cruise ships and even for one Pope, and now he’s coming to your library. So get out of the house, come on out, watch Andrew attempt his silly circus tricks and maybe even lend a helping hand. Recommended ages 0 - 18 years old.
