Join an experienced art instructor to create a guided art project with other kids in your community! Learn about brush stroke techniques and color mixing while enjoying the creative process of making art – plus, go home with a finished piece to proudly display or give as a gift. Held inside the Children’s Room.

This active, hands-on program is all about experiencing our surroundings through touching and feeling! We will have sensory stations, water-based activities, a ball pit, parachute and bubbles available for free play. In cases of rain or unseasonably cold weather, the program will be canceled.

For children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2022
Registration Required
New Cumberland Public Library invites children who are entering Kindergarten in Fall 2022 to participate in a 5-week kindergarten readiness program. Participants will receive instruction & materials to complete fun learning activities and crafts to practice the academic and motor skills they will need to succeed at school.
