The public sale begins Friday at 9 a.m. and includes dvds, other media, cds, puzzles and games, parent and teacher materials, children’s, teens, and adult books as well as a special table featuring coffee table books and interesting collectible editions. Come and stock up on your reading, viewing, and listening needs for the spring!

Saturday, November 30 from 1 pm to 5 pm
Come and meet Team Technicon, a robotics team in the organization First comprised of students from the Cumberland Valley School District. They will be in the library to conduct STEM related activities and get children/teens excited about robotics. Drop by and see what it's all about! No registration necessary. A selection of award winning, best selling and popular children's and youth books chosen by Midtown Scholar will be available for purchase. Categories for sale include: Toddler books; Beginning Readers/Picture books; Chapter books; Young Adult books, and Teen books priced from $2 - $10.

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Community Room, Lower Level
Join us as we welcome Bright Star Touring Theatre this Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Their powerful production will introduce audiences to poignant events and notable names of the Civil Rights Movement. This acclaimed show focuses on the tumultuous years between 1955 and 1968 and shines light on important milestones in our history, including: the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the SCLC, Brown v. Board of Education, the Sit-In Movement, the Freedom Riders, the March on Washington, and the assassination of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. Viewers can expect to meet important figures and hear inspiring songs of the era. Recommended for 3rd grade – adult. No registration necessary.

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm in the Ruggaber Community Room, Lower Level
Wooden blocks, LEGO blocks, Keva planks, and more! Children from 3 – 12 and their families are invited to join us for an hour of building bridges, houses, or whatever else you can imagine! No registration needed.
