Gingerbread House Workshop

gingerbread house workshopChildren are invited to decorate a cute 3-D foam gingerbread house and a cookie at the Gingerbread House Workshop! Everything you need for your foam gingerbread house and to decorate a cookie is provided. 

Only children will be provided with craft materials. 

When: Saturday, December 20 at 10:30 - 11:30 am, 1:00 - 2:00 pm, and 3:00 - 4:00 pm.

Family Christmas Party

Family Holiday PartyIt's a Christmas party at the library for the whole family! Join us for Christmas crafts and games plus a visit from Santa Claus! The same program will be offered twice on Saturday, December 6.

When: Saturday, December 6 at 10:30 - 11:30 am and 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Ages: Family members of all ages.

Spooky STEM with Bee Bots

beeTuesday, October 1 at 4:30 pm OR Thursday, October 3 at 5 pm in the Kunkel Creation Station, Lower Level
Join us in the Kunkel Creation Station for some spooky STEM activities. Mix potions, create your own ghosts, and navigate the Bee Bots through a haunted house! For ages 6-8, register starting Sept 17.

Girls in STEM: The Scientific Method Escape Room

The Scientific Method is an important part of ANY science experiment. Learn about it with us in the Kunkel Creation Station by solving the escape room! For ages 9-12, register starting Sept 22.
Why is this STEM program only offered for girls? There is a massive gender imbalance that persists in STEM-related fields, and it's important that we give girls a chance to learn and thrive in a supporting environment. The Girls in STEM program series @ the Kunkel Creation Station hopes to inspire girls to development and maintain an interest in STEM-related topics and future career fields.
