Genealogy Club

gen11 am in the Community Room, Lower Level
Just starting your genealogy research and aren’t sure where to begin? Have you hit a roadblock in your research and need help? Or do you just want to learn about different genealogical resources? Then Genealogy Club is for you! During each session, we will spend time working on our individual research and have the opportunity to bounce our family history questions off of other club members. Occasionally, there will be themed meetings where we will discuss and try out different genealogical resources. You will need to bring a computer for each session to work on your research and to access the different resources. Registration required

Paragon of People's Music - Celebrating Bruce Springsteen's 75th Birthday!

Friday, September 13, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the Community Room

There are very few people who can match Bruce's output of classic, memorable, and vital songs over a career of over fifty years (and continuing). We will sing songs from Bruce's vast catalog of vital songs. Join us for a celebration of "The Boss," his music, and his contributions to U.S. culture. Songs, commentary, projections (including lyrics) presented by guitarist, singer, and West Chester University professor, Doug Morris. All are welcome (spread the word - the more people, the more energy).

No Registration Required
Treat yourself to shelf love! This book discussion group is designed for busy, working individuals. We understand – reading a book in one month’s time is not always possible. We discuss a particular book every other month. We still get together once a month, though. On the off month, we check up on each other’s progress and talk about how we feel about the book “so far” in a casual, zero-pressure environment. The book we will discuss in November is Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier.

The Shelf Love Book Discussion Group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the 2nd floor meeting room.

Selections for the 2025-2026 Season:
August 12 - Shelf Love Social (meeting in Foundation House)
September 9 - The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman
October 14 - Shelf Love Social
November 11 - Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
December 9 - Shelf Love Social
January 13 - Pearl by Sian Hughes
February 10 - Shelf Love Social
