Calling all Fiber Arts enthusiasts! The Guild is open to spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters, felters, rug hookers, shepherds, plant fiber growers and others interested in the art and craft of fiber and textiles.
They meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday for workshops, field trips, demonstrations for the public, or to gather just to spin, knit, crochet or work on a "project-in-progress".
February's Topic: Knowledge Share – Fiber ID, Wash & Care of Handmade textiles, and mending
Bring items to ID, questions or suggestions on care, bring products to show that you like to use, share favorite mending techniques with each other.

Learn to embellish a journal, a picture frame or add that special touch to a precious keepsake by adding pressed flowers. Karen Lee Newman, workshop facilitator, will provide instruction, flowers, glue, inspiration and an understanding of the symbolic meaning of flowers. This program is inspired by Longwood Gardens Community Read theme of “the meaning, beauty, and solace we can find in gardens.” Registration required.

Using hand-made geometrical tools, participants will measure the amount of carbon in a single leaf discovering and understanding the implications on the climate emergency.
