Come and donate in Fredricksen's lower parking lot (Walnut Street). The Central PA Blood Bank is here on the first Friday of every month. It is a safe and easy process which takes approximately 45 minutes. Generally, anyone age 16 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in good health, can donate blood. The In Good Taste Kitchen Tour began in 2019 and is a gourmet private kitchen tour. The event will showcase unique local kitchens that range in style, size, and budget. The kitchens are located in the Fredricksen Library service areas of Camp Hill, Lemoyne and Hampden Township. As part of the tour experience, a local caterer or restauranteur will serve as an on-site “Tastemaker” preparing and providing a sampling of their offerings. A number of locations will also have a designer or contractor on-site to talk about kitchen renovation. 

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online or in the library.

Join veteran teacher, James Gates, to get a better understanding of your iPhone. This class is for those who know only the very basics of their iPhone. Over the course of six weeks you'll explore several apps. Learn fun new tricks for texting, Safari tips, how to customize your iPhone, how to take better photos, as well as how you can organize and even edit them. There's a LOT your phone can do. Join us! Registration begins August 1.
