Join your fellow Pennsylvanians in dialogue across distance and difference! With growing attention towards global natural disasters caused by climate change, loss of hope for the future of our planet and climate doomism is prevalent in public discourse. The goal of this two-hour session is to explore different mediums of how we can restore and care for our environment in the years to come, with consideration of indigenous climate restoration and activism, climate infrastructure, and urban & rural environmental justice. Advanced registration through Eventbrite is required; you will receive a link to the Zoom session before it begins via email.

Join us for Moving Forward, a book discussion series geared towards those who have suffered a loss or tragedy and could use an infusion of hope. In cooperation with Hospice of Central PA, we will be reading books focusing on the redemptive power of the human spirit. April’s choice is Recipes for a Sacred Life: True Stories and a Few Miracles. Rivy Neshama’s true tales, a memoir of sorts, are filled with love, warmth, and timeless wisdom. They ground us, and they lift us up. They make us laugh, and they make us cry. And most of all, they connect us more deeply with the grace and meaning of our lives. Ages 18 and older, please. You must have read or listened to the book to attend. Registration begins February 1.
