Join us for a pajama & bedtime themed story from the comfort of your home. Then, create a cozy craft to unwind at the end of your day. Materials will be available for pickup at the Children’s Desk starting Saturday, January 8.

Children interested in reading practice can sign up to read to a therapy animal. Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program seeks to improve a child’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of trained therapy animal teams. Children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect independently with the pet. Bring your favorite book or two to share with one of our animal friends.

Two mornings a month will be dedicated to fostering fun & creativity for little ones! Kids will explore their imaginations with wooden blocks and toys while building STEM, pre-literacy, and motor skills through a variety of play methods.

Registration Required
Join us for a love-filled storytime series! We will share stories, songs & rhymes together. Storytime teaches social skills, listening comprehension, letter and number recognition, and vocabulary. We’ll have fun while building a foundation for reading success. Each family may pick up a scarf and shaky egg from the Children’s Desk which must be returned at the end of the session. In the event of unseasonably warm weather, we may elect to hold these storytimes outside!

Dawn Marron has organized experienced local coupon clippers to share their tips and techniques to cut spending and enjoy shopping. This month will be focused on Back to School savings.

The New Cumberland Public Library will host Couponing for Extreme Savings on the third Saturdays of the month in the Meeting Room of the library building. Workshops are free and open to the public. Feel free to bring coupons to trade and share. Contact CouponerDawn@gmail.com for further information.
