The Library will be closing early on Monday, December 27 at 5:00PM to allow more of our staff to spend extra time with the families over the holiday weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will reopen Tuesday, December 28 at 10:00AM.

The Library will be closing early on Friday, December 31st at 1:00PM and be closed all day Saturday, January 1st to allow our staff to celebrate the New Year with family and friends. Wishing you the happiest of holidays as we begin 2022!

Join the Women's Club of New Cumberland and Highland as they sponsor Santa's Secret Workshop in Foundation House. Children ages 3 & up who are willing to shop with a volunteer assistant have the opportunity to buy gifts for family members. Items are reasonably priced from $1.50 to $5.00 and are gift wrapped. Payment must be cash. Proceeds from the event go to support the New Cumberland Public Library.

Color some beautiful spring flower pots while practicing common learning words for early readers. Available at the Children’s Desk starting Saturday, April 23. No registration required but supplies are limited.

Create a mini-greenhouse with a plastic glove and watch five different seeds sprout! This activity is part of Longwood Garden’s 2022 Community Read of We Planted A Tree. Kids will be able to learn and witness how seeds sprout into plants! Available while supplies last at the Children’s Desk starting Saturday, May 21.

Join us at the Library for this storytime & craft program celebrating the season and this classic picture book. After the story, children will have the opportunity to make their own winter stocking craft to match the hedgehog in the story.

* Face masks must be worn over the mouth and nose by those age 2 and over in attendance whether vaccinated or un-vaccinate, no exceptions. By registering, you are agreeing to follow these guidelines.
