Each kit will include the materials and instructions you need for several crafts and activities related to the theme, as well as items chosen specifically to help children develop age appropriate literacy skills such as letter sounds, number recognition, fine motor skills, and more.

Sign up to read to a therapy animal outside on the Library’s lawn!* Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program seeks to improve a child’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of trained therapy animal teams.

The children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect with the pet. Bring your favorite book or two to share with one of our animal friends. Registration for a 20-minute reading slot is required and space is limited. Please register for each date you want to attend.
